Rachel Lassman is a UK trained Occupational Therapist with 25 years of clinical experience. She has been living and working in Uganda for over 12 years. She is a research assistant at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Global Coordinator for Baby Ubuntu: early care and support for children with developmental disabilities. She has worked on the Baby Ubuntu programme since its inception in 2015, supporting its design, the development of robust training and mentorship support, and programme implementation in East Africa and beyond. She is passionate about working with families of young children with developmental disabilities in a collaborative and participatory way.
