Structure of the Diploma
The diploma has following four components
The learning will be happening in-person in Pondicherry (Puducherry), India across 4 explorations over 10 months. Each exploration is 5 days with 8 hours on each day, starting March 2027
Training Explorations
12 small group supervision gatherings online (3 after each training explorations), for 3 hours each and facilitated by supervisors to scaffold learning and develop rigour in practical skills.
Supervision
8 online co-learning circles for 3 hours each facilitated by people and communities from diverse spaces.
Co-learning
4 online sessions in small groups (1 after each exploration) for 2 hours with peers to read, watch, listen, reflect and engage with the resources shared through the diploma.

The curriculum includes Understanding the metaphor of stories, Discourse & Deconstruction, Politics of experience, Decentered yet Influential Stance, Externalisation Map, Re-authoring Map, Outsider Witness Practices, Definitional Ceremonies, Therapeutic Letter writing and Creative Documentation Practices.
There will be two assignments (one individual and one group) through the course of the program. The details will be shared during the program.
Details (time and date) for the sessions on supervision, co-learning and peer support/ reading groups will be shared once accepted into the program.
Who can apply?
People who are curious about stories and want to explore more. It could be community health workers, activists, teachers, mental health workers, writers, social workers, poets, special educators, artists, photographers, counsellors, historians, psychologists, policy makers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, doctors, etc.
To complete the diploma participants will be expected to attend and participate in the training explorations, supervision, co-learnings and peer support/reading groups along with their assignments and the end of the year presentation sharing.
